Cancellation & Refund Policy

Short version: cancel any time, keep access to the end of the period you've paid for, and we don't charge for anything you didn't get.

1. Free trial

Your 14-day trial is free. A card is required to start it. Cancel at any point during the trial and nothing is charged — no exceptions, no questions.

2. Reminder before the first charge

At least 2 days before your first payment we email and message you the amount, the date, the plan and the last four digits of the card on file, with a one-click link to change or cancel.

3. Cancelling a paid subscription

Cancel any time from Settings → Billing, from the link in any billing email, or by emailing hello@onyxdine.com (subject "Cancel"). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep full access until then and are not charged again. Your data stays exportable for 30 days after that.

4. Refunds

  1. Monthly plans: we don't refund the current month after a charge has gone through, because you keep the Service until the period ends. If you cancel by mistake immediately after a renewal, write to us within 48 hours and we'll sort it out.
  2. Annual plans: cancel within 14 days of the annual charge for a full refund. After that, the unused months are refunded pro rata, less any discount you received for paying annually.
  3. Billing errors: duplicate charges, charges after a confirmed cancellation, or wrong amounts are refunded in full, promptly.
  4. Outages: if the platform is down for more than 24 continuous hours for reasons within our control, you get a credit for the affected days on request.
  5. Add-ons and extra branches: removing them credits the unused portion to your next invoice.

5. Plan changes

Upgrades are prorated and charged immediately. Downgrades are prorated as a credit on your next invoice — no cash refund, no loss.

6. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Paddle, our payment partner, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — almost every issue is fixed the same day. Accounts with an open chargeback are paused until it is resolved.

8. Your legal rights

Nothing here limits rights you have under the Québec Consumer Protection Act or other applicable consumer laws.
